About Youthography

Who Are We?
Youthography is North America’s leading full-service youth marketing agency – offering research, strategy, marketing and advertising for a wide array of companies, brands, products and institutions, including the federal government, the not-for-profit sector as well as a number of Fortune 500 companies. Understanding youth has been our bread and butter and the soul of our business since our inception in 1999. We talk with youth every day, and we market to them everyday. What makes us different is not what we do, but how we do it since our focus is on insight first. Youthography completes the circle – from insight to action – and builds the connection between young consumers and brands.

Some recent projects
Youthography is always inviting youth to participate in client projects. It is our belief – and recommendation to companies or organizations – that when looking to reach young people with a brand, product, advertising or other, you have to go straight to the source…you guys! Here are just a couple of examples of clients that have involved our Youthography community...

  • We recruited 48 young people from 8 different cities across Ontario to participate in a 3-month online panel for the Ministry of Infrastructure Renewal dedicated to identifying the strengths and weaknesses of their cities’ downtown cores in order to generate ideas for ways to improve and grow their cities over the next 30 years. Panel members had a chance to build their idea of the future of their cities using aerial maps built to scale, foam core models of buildings, and miniature trees; once completed, they presented their models to the Premier of Ontario, Dalton McGuinty…that was pretty cool and we’re proud to say we were a part of it.


  • An ongoing 8-month online panel has been recruited for the Rogers Wireless brand involving youth aged 15 to 24. These panelists are responsible for answering assignments online each month which involve product testing, competitive comparisons, and a bunch of other creative and interesting topics. All of their feedback is directed right back at Rogers Wireless and their creative agency to incorporate and build into their marketing plans which affect everything from product offerings, advertising, promotions, etc.


  • On top of these, Youthography is always contacting our community to answer surveys or participate in ideation sessions.
